FORENESS IN THE SUNSHINE
Having managed to get out yesterday and connect with the Avocet at Cold Harbour I wanted to go to Foreness for high tide today.Arriving spot on 11.58A.M. I managed to count 21 Purple Sandpipers sitting high on the Pumping Station wall.Barry had 19, the other day and this is certainly the most I've ever seen here.Definitely worth a visit... unfortunately too distant for a photograph and quite dark at the undercliff. I didn't search for the Black Redstart but an hour happily watching the Fulmars and Fieldfare on the fenceless ex Pitch and Putt.

Glad you got the Avocets, tricky as you know to get. I like the first Fulmar shot, nice angle.
